Junior Golf

Our comprehensive junior programme for children aged 5 and above involves coaching, playing and a tournament programme that is all designed to help children learn and improve while having lots of fun.

We also stock a wide range of junior golf equipment, including a complete selection of Future Star Junior Golf equipment and US Kids clubs.

Practice Range 

Our weather-protected practice range provides members and affiliated members with the ideal facility to work on their swing no matter the weather. 

Range tokens for the ball dispenser can be purchased from the Golf Shop so the practice range can be used even when the Golf Shop is closed. Only range balls purchased from the Golf Shop are allowed to be used on the practice range.

All drivers, and any clubs that you can hit 200m+ are prohibited between the hours of 9am - 5.30pm during standard time and 8am - 8pm during daylight saving time.

Range balls cost:

30 balls/1 token (MGC members $6, Affiliated members $12)

60 balls/2 tokens (MGC members $11, Affiliated members $20)

Golf Balls – We stock the full range of the most trusted golf ball – Titleist – along with premier brands Callaway and Bridgestone.

GPS & Range finders – The team at the Manawatu Golf Shop can help you decide which GPS or Range Finder would be best for you and your game. Come in and try one — you’ll be amazed at how they can transform your game!

Bags & Trundlers – Whether you like to carry your bag or if you need a trundler to push a larger cart bag, we have many options and styles to suit you.

Accessories, Shoes & Apparel – From head covers to rain covers, socks to caps, whether it is summer or winter, we have all the accessories and golf gifts you are looking for and all the clothes and shoes to keep you stylish this season.

Repairs – Our team have the machines and equipment to get your clubs out of the repair room and back on the course in the shortest time possible. This includes regrips, reshafts, shaft extensions or shaft cut downs, loft and lie angles, shoe spikes and trundler repairs.
