The Manawatu Golf Club welcomes new members and offers a variety of Membership options and payment options to suit your requirements.
Advantages of becoming a Member
- Playing rights on days as defined by your membership category
- Access to the members section of our website which provides online tee booking facilities, up to date club news and results, a membership directory and a business directory to promote your business.
- Each member is able to maintain an official golf handicap. A levy to NZ Golf is incorporated into your membership cost for administration of this service.
- The ability to participate in club days (depending on your membership category). We offer a variety of competitions throughout the year which ensures that there are always other people to play with.
- Cheaper green fee rates all over the country. For example our club green fees are $35 for NZ golf club members and $65 for non NZ golf club members. If you are playing regularly this soon adds up.
- The opportunity to make contacts with a variety of club members, great for personal and business networking.
- The club has reciprocal right agreements with a number of clubs throughout the country and overseas, which allow you to play on these courses without the requirement to pay a green fee. A list of the Reciprocal Clubs is listed on our site.
Perhaps the biggest advantage of all is you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy regular exercise and fresh air while playing golf on a scenic parklike course within the city boundary, where parking is free, and the grass is mown for you every day.
Membership Rates at Manawatu Golf Club (from 01 January 2011)

Membership at the Manawatu Golf Club is an annual commitment and you are joining for a 12 month period. At the end of each membership year, you will have the option of either renewing for a further 12 months, or resigning from the Club in writing. We offer payment plans to help spread the cost over the year.
Fees are payable in full on joining or via arrangement by quarterly or monthly direct debit. Direct debit payments attract a per transaction charge (included in the rates shown below), and an additional one-off set up fee of $15.

Mid-Week Men
This is an 18 hole membership, Monday to Friday only, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Casual green fees apply to play on Saturday or Sunday.
9 Hole
This is a 9 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights.
Senior 9 Hole
This is a 9 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members must be 75 years or over on the date of joining.
Country
This is an 18 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members must live 50km or more from Palmerston North.
Non-Competition
This is a restricted 18 hole membership, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members are unable to play on Club competition days.
Under 30
This is an 18 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members must be 29 years or under on the date of joining.
Under 25
This is an 18 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members must be 24 years or under on the date of joining.
Tertiary Student (under 30)
This is an 18 hole membership, 7 days a week, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members must be 29 years or under and in full time study on the date of joining.
Full Playing Junior

Restricted Junior
This is a restricted 18 hole membership, subject to course availability and playing rights - click here for playing rights. Members are unable to play on Club competition days and must be 18 years or under on the date of joining.
Social
This is a non-playing membership. Members are welcome to use the Clubrooms 7 days a week and receive all Club communication. Casual green fees apply to all play.
