The Manawatu Golf Club offers a variety of Membership options and payment options to suit your requirements. We always welcome new members.
Advantages of becoming a Member:
- Being able to participate in club days (depending on membership category), where we offer a variety of competitions throughout the year. This ensures that there is always other people to play with.
- Every golf club member is able to obtain an official golf handicap. This cost is incorporated into your membership as a levy to NZ Golf who administer this service.
- As a golf club member you get cheaper green fee rates all over the country. For example our club green fees are $30 for NZ golf club members and $60 for non NZ golf club members. If you are playing regularly this soon adds up.
- You get the opportunity to make contacts with a variety of club members. This may be particularly advantages to business owners for networking purposes. Friendships are frequently gained on the course given the social aspect of the game.
- Perhaps the biggest advantage of all is you can get regular exercise, fresh air and enjoment from playing golf nearly eveyday of the year, if you want. All on a scenic parklike course within the city boundary, where parking is free, the grass is mown for you everyday, and you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life - almost like having a large extension put on to your backyard.
- The club has reciprocal right agreements with the following clubs throughout the country and overseas, which allows you to play on these courses without the requirement to pay a green fee:

As a member you will have access to the member section on our website which provides online tee booking facilities, up to date club news and results, a membership directory and a business directory to promote your business.
Membership Rates at Manawatu Golf Club (From 1 February 2010) Rates inc. GST and NZ Golf / District Assn Levies)
Payment options are annual one off payment, half yearly or quarterly, monthly, fortnightly and weekly by Direct Debit. A small admin charge has been applied to the Direct Debit payment options, and a one off $15 set up charge is deducted from the very first payment.

Summer Memberships are at 50% of the above costs and run from 1 October through to 1 March. A reduction off a full playing membership is offered to summer members wishing to continue on to a full year subscription.
